Well yea, today's my 'small-little-something-called-web-portfolios' first anniversaire so I thought I could make a screenshot to capture the current status.

In the beginning I'd have never expected that a personal website would bring so much positive effects.
Looots of people visited it, got comission jobs, some ordered prints, received great feedback and it also helped to get a non-photographic-job.
Even I had to do a presentation about the site (procedure, technique and photos) at the univsersity.

So yea, I hope the positive effects will continue in the future :)

For all technique freaks:
I just used some basic HTML, CSS, PHP codes.

Now, if you haven't browsed/bookmarked/RSS-feeded the site, do it now ;p
For all others, thanks a lot for your support by now.


PS: Don't use old crap browser called IE6 :nod:

Die Seite ist schön geworden, verstehe zwar nichts von Webseitenerstellung aber mir gefällts.

Beim durchstöbern der Seite habe ich am Anfang aber gleich nen Fehler gemacht. Bin auf Fotos Natur gegangen und dann: Hö? Nur 7 Fotos? Ich Blindfisch habe die große 2008 net gesehen und nicht gemerkt das man noch nach Jahren wählen kann :D :blushes:

Wenn du scharf auf Statistik bist, kleiner Auszug aus meinen stats (4 Monate):
Firefox ca. 80%
IE6+7 ca 17%
Rest sonstige.

Das Problem an der Geschichte ist nunmal, das Microsoft dem IE keine Web-Standards verpasst hat (mit dem IE8 soll angeblich alles besser werden). Drum ist das für den kleinen Programmierer ein riesen Ärgernis, das er zu einem kleinen Programmcode noch zickerlei andere Versionen/Kompromisse machen muss, das es auch für den lieben IE Anwender irgendwie funktioniert.

Ja, ich weiß, daß der IE ein großes Ärgernis ist und ich meine sogar gelesen zu haben, daß sich Microsoft weiterhin gegen diese Web-Standards verweigert.

Ich bin nur scharf auf diese Statistik, weil man als, wenn auch kleiner Entwickler, leider nicht drum herum kommt. Wie gesagt, war nur rein informativ, wenn du damit Leben kannst, ist's doch prima. Ist ja auch 'ne schicke Seite.

M$ ist halt ein großes Rätsel für sich. Wär halt ein 'Traum' wenn es ein Programm bzw. Browser geben würde, der alle Standards beinhaltet. Nichtmal Apple ist so doof :p.
Na ja, aber das ist, wie bei fast allem im Leben, wohl nie zu machen :shrug:.
